Hotel Tiffany & Resort

We spent 9 nights here on an All Inclusive stay with our child, and unfortunately this was a really bad choice. The photos on the hotel website did not match what we found at all. When we booked, the hotel recommended a "Platina" room. It felt more like a hospital room than a hotel room, just white walls and very ordinary furniture, including a wardrobe. The bathroom was badly laid out and made the already small space even harder to move around in. People who are overweight in particular should be aware of that. After the first night, we asked to move to another room where the bathroom fixtures were arranged differently and it was easier to get around. Reception was receptive, but said there would be a 20 euro fee. The new room was described as a downgrade because it had no mini-fridge. Then Mrs. Antonella, the owner, added another 20 euros, saying the cleaning company would have to be paid twice. After discussing it with the hotel manager, we agreed to pay 40 euros in total. The room was cleaned, but not properly. There was dust on the bedside tables and chest of drawers every day, and even on the hotel information book. The restaurant was a disaster, very unprofessional. They brought the main course before we had finished the starter, the food was often cold, and the tables were never fully set. Everything felt rushed, which made meals uncomfortable. The menu was poor every day, and breakfast was poor too. Mrs Antonella served nearly the same dessert almost every day, just one ice cream flavor, or at most two. Portions and supplies seemed tightly limited. That might not bother adults, but I saw children turned away from dessert because there wasn’t enough. When we asked for a bottle of soft drink, the waiter said there wasn’t any and that he’d bring it the next day. He reminded us, “It’s Sunday and they don’t have any more juices.” As if managing stock were the customer’s problem. Lunch boxes were available for guests going on excursions, but it would have been better to buy food a day ahead. We chose the hotel’s lunch box, but staff said they couldn’t include any of the day’s menu, which we had already paid for, and could only make sandwiches. They were ridiculously basic, thick slices of white bread with one slice of cheese and one slice of salami. The owner’s attitude left a bad impression. It came across as caring more about her own business than providing professional service or a pleasant environment. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, even if it’s the last accommodation option.
