Residence Riva Blu

The staff were so friendly. We had a large room, a nice view, and a great location.

Breakfast at a nearby cafe was a bright spot, with fresh pastries and very professional service. I also ate at Nonna Adriana's restaurant, where the tonnarello al pomodoro was excellent and worth recommending. The room at the Key Energy in Rimini was large and had a kitchen, but the shower wouldn’t run and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I was exhausted and still struggled to sleep. The corridors felt like a refugee housing complex, and the place came across more like a B&B than a hotel. Cesenatico is a popular summer destination, but people paying to stay should be able to find comfort. It’s time for hotel facilities to be renovated, since we’re well past the '80s and '90s.

The agreement with Cala Romeo beach was excellent, and the residence is near the canal harbor, city center, and sea. We stayed for 8 days, and the towels were changed every two days; the room was cleaned as well. Still, the outdated furnishings, appliances, and some finishes kept us from giving the place a 3 to 4 star rating. The mosquito nets wouldn’t close, some shutters were broken, the refrigerator had seen better days, and the cabinets had no shelves. We also had to buy a pan, jars, and bowls because there wasn’t much tableware.

The bar across the street got a little noisy on the weekend. I was tired enough to sleep through it, though. My room at the Residence Riva Blu was very spacious, with a comfortable bed, and I was greeted warmly. I stayed two nights, enjoyed the discounted breakfast, and liked the excellent location near both the sea and the supermarket. A great stay, thanks to all the staff.
