La Sorgente B&B

La Sorgente is simple rather than fancy, but it has what you need and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast is Italian style, with coffee, juice, croissant, jam, cake, and biscuits. It was clean, and though it's up a hill, the restaurants are close. You can arrange a car pickup for the hill for €1, separate from the stay. Dominique was lovely. She explained how to get to Cetara by boat, met us at the harbor for free, and they upgraded our accommodation. They seemed keen to make things work for us, including being flexible about checkout. Cetara is small, with nice food and a little beach. On weekends, free marriages happen in the churches around town.

For a short visit to Cetara, I'd definitely recommend this B&B. We spent one night here and appreciated the efficient service, as well as Caterina's warm, friendly hospitality. Greetings from Saverio and Raffaella.

There was nothing positive about this stay. We cancelled on arrival and left less than half an hour after going in, though it's hard to call the place a proper B&B. An older woman, who we later learned was the owner's mother, showed us to the first floor. There was a kitchen as soon as you entered, with several guest bedrooms, so it felt like an apartment converted into a B&B. Our family of four included a newborn, and the room simply wasn't workable: it had a double bed and a single bed, no space between them, and nowhere to open our suitcases. Dust and hair were all over the room. The kitchen was neglected too. There were open coffee pods left in the machine, which everyone could access. When we explained that the conditions meant we couldn't stay, the woman still charged us for the night and kept the money without giving us a receipt.
