The owner was really kind about swapping my pillow quickly when I found it too hard. The mattress was a little firm too, but comfortable. The room itself is brand new, roomy and nicely furnished, with a fabulous bathroom and a fun touch: small, medium and large towels in different colors. It faces the main road, so you hear some traffic with the windows open. Shut them and the soundproofing is very good. There are no shutters, and even the thick curtains let in some light. I’d add curtains to the windows for a bit more privacy. Highly recommended.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the recently built rooms are lovely and clean. The bathroom is large, with both a shower and a bidet. The setting is the drawback: it’s a small village with few amenities, and many of the surrounding houses need renovation.

Getting to the ski areas takes a drive, around 20 minutes to the Brusson slopes and 30 to Champoluc. Parking nearby is convenient, and some spaces are free. The guesthouse itself is small, beautifully renovated, and has traditional mountain wood interiors. The owners are extremely friendly and always available.

Champoluc is about twenty minutes away. Just across the street there’s a hotel and restaurant with reasonably priced meals, and a small market is a short walk away. The rooms are cozy, some have kitchenettes, and the prices are fair. The owners are friendly and helpful.

The owners were very kind, and my room felt welcoming and was very clean. The building is new, and the bathroom has every comfort. They’d also provided a kettle with herbal teas, regular tea and coffee.
