Pepper says hello! We had a wonderful time at this simple, unpretentious B&B out in the beautiful Ferrara countryside, down a gravel road. The decor is quirky and lovely, and breakfast looks out over the garden. In summer, there’s a pool too. Edoardo was warm and friendly, happy to help with whatever we needed and suggest things to do nearby. There’s also a ping pong table and some lovely dogs to fuss over.

Linda and Edo made us feel right at home and were so keen to make our stay even better. The place is well cared for and in harmony with nature, and the pool has everything you need. Breakfast is simple, with something for different tastes. It’s about 10 km from Ferrara, out in the countryside, so we found it peaceful and relaxing.

The internet was the one drawback for me. Otherwise, I loved that you could use the pool in the evening and have breakfast whenever suited you, instead of being tied to the usual 8 to 10 window that cuts into the one time a traveler can sleep. Edoardo’s energy really comes through at B&B Ai Prati. He’s so kind, easy to talk to, and helpful. You can even get a cocktail he makes himself at the charming little bar by the pool. Those touches are hard to beat.
