This very good hotel in Chianciano Terme has now moved into the four-star superior category. The staff are friendly and professional, the menu has good food and international choices, and there's a nice swimming pool plus an outdoor American bar. I recommend it for a holiday.

Wi-Fi was the only good thing. The servers forgot to serve me while I was eating, the staff were really unfriendly, and the rooms were awful. They look like they came straight from the Stone Age.

There was little or no fruit and veg, and the portions were small. Our room was right beside a noisy lift that kept us awake.

I visited in September and wouldn't recommend staying here for long. It's far from shops and other restaurants and bars, and the rooms are old and ugly.

The location is great, though the room could use some renovation. Breakfast was disappointing, with small portions.
