Hotel Villa Luca

For our one night in a standard room, everything was spotless. The mattress and shower were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the common spaces and rooftop pool, and breakfast was wonderful, with around 14 homemade cakes. Parking was free, too. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel.

We'd be glad to return, especially since the hotel stays open all year. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the place earns its four stars with the services it provides. Breakfast was superb, with a fresh selection each day, and coffee refills came quickly and with real courtesy. The rooftop pool was a highlight, available to use freely even in the evening. Our room also had a safe, minibar, and electric shutters for both the bedroom and bathroom, controlled by a button beside the bed. Everything was impeccably clean.

There's convenient guest parking right in front, and the location makes it easy to visit plenty of towns within a half-hour drive, including Chianciano center, Chiusi, Montepulciano, and Pienza. The hotel is only minutes from Chianciano's historic center, so you can explore nearby villages and still come back to relax. The rooftop pool has a panoramic view and is a lovely place to cool off after a morning out or before an evening out. Everywhere was immaculate, from the common areas to the spacious, bright rooms, which had great air conditioning. Breakfast was generous, and lunch or dinner is available on site. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Beds were comfortable, and soundproofing helped make for a good night's sleep. Highly recommended.

The rooftop pool was beautiful, with a great view, a cool breeze, and an excellent spot in the hotel. Breakfast was good, and I had no trouble eating despite having celiac disease. My family and I had a great long weekend. The place was clean, and the staff were both professional and friendly. My one small complaint is that the pillows were rather uncomfortable.
