Valentina and her family took us in when we suddenly needed somewhere near the hospital in Citta di Castello. During our vacation at a wedding venue villa, my 9-year-old granddaughter had to be taken there by ambulance. We were scared and upset, and had no idea how long we'd need to stay. Even though we arrived with no notice, they let us book day by day, and we ended up spending five days there. Our room was small, but we were basically walking in off the street in a difficult moment. This family-run hotel became like home, and the family felt like our own. We loved Citta di Castello and hope to return one day. By the way, the hospital was wonderful to us and my granddaughter.

The continental breakfast is rich, a nice touch that gives this 2* hotel some 3* details. It's quiet enough despite being in the city center, though a nearby bar can get noisy in the evening. The hotel also has a dependance across from it, where you can be fully independent and get a bit more peace. There is NO air conditioning, which isn't required for a 2* hotel, but the fan provided is more than enough in rooms that don't face the sun.

For a 2 star hotel in Città del Castello, it was average. My room was very clean and the staff really friendly. The food was good, especially breakfast, but the wifi didn't work very well.

Pretty good, tbh. I stayed here for the Via San Francesco and got some rest before heading out the next day.
