The hotel was clean, but the AC didn’t work well and the rooms were extremely hot. My whole family was sweating and uncomfortable. If heat doesn’t bother you and you need somewhere close to where you board the ship, it’s not a bad option.

We stayed one night before catching the ferry to Sardegna. Even though we arrived much later than expected, we got a very friendly welcome. They also found a place to store our surf equipment and set up an early self-service breakfast since we had to leave very early. Many thanks, it was perfect!

After four months travelling around the UK and EU, this was my best stay. I can’t do the place justice in writing. The bedroom and bathroom were large and beautifully finished, with quality materials, tasteful decor, and proper workmanship throughout the remodel. There was a nice patio off the bedroom and a very comfortable bed with a high-quality mattress. Even the curtain track with pull cords was the kind of thing I’ve only seen in high-end hotels. In Rome, Barcelona, or Paris, I’d expect a place like this to cost €350 or more per night. I’d recommend staying here and taking the train or bus into Rome instead of staying in the city. Well done, bravo, and respect from a former motel owner. I’m looking forward to breakfast today. With the great staff and owner, I have no doubt it’ll be just as well done.

The town centre and railway station are both about a 10-minute walk away. This welcoming place somehow pairs an informal, warm atmosphere with excellent comfort and beautifully kept rooms.
