Mowita

We were very comfortable at Mowita. It’s on the first floor of a residential building with an elevator, right in a pedestrian area full of bars and restaurants, but the apartment itself is very quiet. The train station is an easy walk away. You can also reach the harbor on foot with your luggage, provided you’re in decent shape. The little apartment is charming and practical, with plenty of dishes and utensils. They even provide things you may have forgotten, like sunscreen, earplugs, and adhesive tape. There are groceries on hand for making breakfast yourself, and wine and limoncello are available for a fee. The welcome, check-in, and help with special requests were all friendly. From the balcony, the view is captivating. Free pebble and stone beaches are right across from the building; at the small beach bar we paid €20 a day for two wooden loungers and a parasol. Osteria del Pirgo is right next door and, to us, the best and friendliest restaurant in the area. A great choice for cruise passengers arriving or departing.

The windows look toward the Pirgo bridge and terrace, and the whole Thaon de Revel promenade has lovely cafes and restaurants. The sea is right nearby, while the train station and Civitavecchia’s central promenades are about a five-minute walk. From the Marina, you can walk to the port in ten minutes. Maria Elisa was so generous and courteous. The bathroom had everything needed for a comfortable shower, and the kitchen area was stocked with tea, herbal teas, coffee ☕, and what we needed for breakfast or a simple meal. It’s a very clean, carefully maintained little gem by the sea. 🔟‼️ I came back a year later, and ✨✨✨🌟☀️ the apartment was even lovelier, with an even warmer and kinder host ‼️‼️‼️‼️ I’d already given it five 🌟, so this time I’m adding even more to show off a flower display ‼️🙏

Though compact, the apartment sleeps 2+2 and has everything we needed, with good furnishings. It’s right on the seafront promenade, convenient for city life and getting around, close to the port and very near the train station. The manager was friendly and helpful, and offers plenty of quality services to make for a pleasant holiday.

We had a really pleasant stay and plan to come back soon. The apartment is charming, spotless, and fully equipped, with thoughtful little touches for guests. The view through the windows right over the sea is enchanting, and Maria Elisa was so welcoming and helpful.
