Albergo La Posta Arezzo

For a convenient place to sleep if you’re passing through, this works well. The rooms were clean, breakfast was quite ok 👌, and the owner, Santi, was very kind and attentive.

This older, family-run hotel near Arezzo could use some updating, but it’s very clean and discreet. The rooms are spacious and warm, with en-suite bathrooms. We felt at home thanks to the family’s kindness and helpfulness. Breakfast was decent, and the price was excellent for the season. Arezzo and other Tuscan villages are about 20 minutes away. We had a great stay and would gladly return if the chance comes up.

The shower was extremely awkward to use and clean because it had no hose, and the poor cleanliness was obvious. The hotel feels dated. What bothered me most was coming back from a walk to find the air conditioning switched off. We had set it to a suitable temperature, then left our belongings in the room while we went out, so someone entering to turn it off felt really disrespectful. Breakfast, on the other hand, was completely beyond reproach: three of us had to sit at a tiny round bar table with no space even for cups, and everything was packaged supermarket food. This place should be downgraded to 2 stars.
