B&B Villa Parmarini

Our Saturday night with friends was a nightmare. Service was poor, and the owner was arrogant and rude. We waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for 10 pizzas, which I find inconceivable. We also had to pay for parking, which is unacceptable when I’m there to eat. When we asked why service was delayed, the owner rudely said the place was packed. It only has 20 tables, and the whole staff seemed incompetent and totally inexperienced. I’ve worked on 5-star+ cruise ships, and this place doesn’t deserve half a star. I’ll never go back. I’m giving it one star only because otherwise she wouldn’t publish it.

The property couldn’t process my reservation. Airbnb, the popular travel app, received my payment right away, but the refund will take 15 business days. I found this out by chance two days after paying, when I called the property to check that everything was in order. If I hadn’t called, I could have reached Puglia with nowhere to sleep. Anyone who knows them should avoid them. Never again, I won’t deal with inexperienced hoteliers.

There were only two waitresses in the small dining room. They were friendly and helpful, but couldn’t keep up with the tables, and the bill was wrong. The food was good, though nothing special, and reasonably priced.

The dishes are generous and imaginative, though a few small details in the cuisine could use attention. The rustic setting also needs some work, especially the playground, which is completely exposed to the sun.
