Booking is quite a challenge since they never pick up the phone. Once you’re there, the spacious, quiet restaurant has a rustic feel and offers excellent meat and very good pasta. Starters are decent, though a little modest. The bread was cold, and the wine wasn’t really to my taste. I’d suggest trying a few local bottles and ordering from the menu with table service, since I want to know what I’m spending. The value for money is excellent.

The waiters are lovely and the owner is very welcoming. Tucked into the countryside between Giulianello and Cori, the place feels as if time has stopped. The cooking is traditional, like it used to be, and the grilled meat is delicious. I’d recommend it for an easygoing evening with friends or for lunch on a birthday or anniversary. Highly recommended.

I had a really nice lunch here. The staff were friendly, the food was excellent, and the portions were big. Prices were reasonable too. I recommend giving it a try.
