I stayed at the hotel next door, Hotel Panda, and would return there any time. I wasn't a guest at Villa Alpina, but I think poor behaviour should be reported. The two hotels share a driveway and have adjacent parking spots, each marked with the hotel's name. When I arrived, I got out briefly to check the signs and find my hotel's space. The Villa Alpina manager opened a window of his house and told me Hotel Panda's parking was farther away. I drove to the first space marked with my hotel's name and parked. As I got out, the manager shouted aggressively, waving his arms and yelling, "Back! Back! Go away! Your parking is in the backyard. Go away!" I was perplexed, said "okay," and drove a few metres further. But the spot I'd parked in clearly had a sign for my hotel. I even took a photo. The way a manager treats people who aren't his own guests says a lot, and there seemed to be very little patience. I was entitled to park there, but I wouldn't have minded moving if he'd asked politely. After that, I won't stay at Villa Alpina.

The room was spacious, clean and cozy, and had an intimate wash for women. It'd be better if the curtains weren't see-through, so people in other rooms couldn't see what we were doing. With the balcony door open, you may hear street noise. Breakfast was fine, and parking is free. The hotel is at the edge of the city centre, about a five-minute walk from it.

A very walkable location, with a private, secure parking lot and really nice rooms. The service was wonderful, and it was great value.

The hotel was a great deal for us, and we'd definitely recommend it. We spent three nights there in September and were very happy. The staff were helpful and nice, and free parking is behind the hotel. The spaces are tight, but that's Europe. You need to check in first because the gate can only be opened with a key card. Our room was completely renovated, modern, clean and spacious, with a large bed, seating area and balcony. The layout was clearly planned with guests in mind: lots of storage and a well-appointed bathroom. It's a quick 5-10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Breakfast was included, basic but fine. There's a snack section where you can take items for the day, though I wish it were available all day, not just at breakfast. The insulation isn't great, so you can hear people walking and talking in the stairwell.

We had a first-floor room at Hotel Villa Alpina. It looked over the parking lot, but also had a fantastic mountain view. The nights were quiet and cool, so we left the balcony door open, and there were no bugs. The staff were 10/10, helpful with directions to tre cimie and just generally pleasant. Breakfast was impressive, the showers had great water pressure and there's a dedicated parking lot. The hotel is walkable to everything. There's some daytime traffic noise and church bells near the town centre, and the first-floor room near the kitchen and reception had a little background noise from people working. We're early risers, and after 8:30pm there was very little noise. I know AC and window screens may not be standard abroad, so we didn't expect them when we booked. Knowing what to expect, I'm exceptionally happy and would stay again.
