The hotel staff were the highlight for me: friendly, helpful, clear about everything, and quick to respond on WhatsApp or by phone. The apartment is owned by a hotel downtown, so you have to check in there to pick up the key before making the 15-minute walk to the apartment. It's easy enough, but adds a step when you arrive. Inside, it feels cozy and welcoming, with an unusual design that made me feel at home from the 1800. There’s plenty of storage, with multiple bands and lots of cabinets. It has heating and an oven, so it works well for winter, and the heating kept things comfortable even on cold days. The downside is that the apartment could use renovation. The stove and oven are old and slow, and it took about 40 minutes to boil water. Even so, I had a very positive stay and would happily return. It’s a comfortable base near downtown, with thoughtful decor and great service.

I wasn't happy with the accommodation. There was mold in the bathtub, holes in the wall, and a spider beside the TV. Some things were missing too: no laundry detergent, and although there was an iron, there wasn't an ironing board. The hair dryer was very loud. It worked at first, then broke after a few minutes.

Lovely scenery, and the place is warm, welcoming and very spacious. I'd recommend it even for just one night.
