Hotel Arlara

Getting back to the hotel from Corvara means tackling a very steep climb, and still water at dinner costs extra. Aside from those two drawbacks, we had a lovely stay. The rooms and pool were nice, and the view was excellent. The food was especially good, like something from a world-class restaurant.

Spacious, bright rooms with modern decor, good food, and very friendly staff made this a great stay. The spa has an indoor pool with hydro-massagers and an outdoor jacuzzi. It’s right by a ski slope that leads to three gondolas, each taking you to different beautiful slopes. A great choice for a group of friends skiing together.

The five-course dinners were so generous that we sometimes asked for half portions. We chose two main courses from a short list at breakfast, with new options each day, and the food tasted freshly cooked with local ingredients. The dishes included interesting local specialties, and dinner was genuinely excellent. Breakfast was a high-quality buffet too. Restaurant and reception staff were friendly and efficient. We came for a week of walking in July, and the hotel suited us perfectly. It’s an easy distance from Corvara, but away from the crowds in the village, with pleasant walks starting right at the hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great shower. We didn’t use much of the facilities, but the swimming pool was welcome after a long day out. We’d be very happy to stay again.

We’ve spent two winters here and plan to come back next year. It’s cosy and homely, with a great location and ski-in, ski-out access. Half board worked well, with good breakfasts and dinners. The bar staff were the friendliest, and the comfortable rooms have lovely views. The spa has two saunas, a steam room, hot tub and pool.
