Le due magnolie

There’s very little nearby, even though it’s almost in the center, and the rooms are seriously lacking in amenities. They seem to reflect the owner’s age. Still, Cotignola is a very small town without any hotels. If you’re here for work, you could travel to Ravenna or Imola, which aren’t far away, or stay here for a couple of nights if your visit is short.

A nightmare. I asked for a twin room, but got a double with an extra single bed, leaving us trapped with no space to move around. The bathroom was what really made me write this review: it was extremely cramped, had no bidet, and no separate shower. The shower was over the toilet. Crazy. The night cost €50 with breakfast, less than some other places, though not by much. There are limits, though. For €3 more, I found a very respectable three-star hotel, and just gave up breakfast.

I only spent one night there. Mrs. Bruna was very kind about arranging check-in and check-out times. The rooms are quiet but nothing special, and breakfast is generous. It’s just 20 meters from Cotignola train station.

We stayed for four days, and Mrs. Bruna was very kind and made us feel at home. The place was clean and tidy, just 10 minutes from Maria Cecilia Hospital. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely stay there.
