We spent two nights at les Glacier hotel in Courmayeur during the last week of August 2025, and the stay was very disappointing. We've travelled widely and never felt so badly treated at a hotel. Every request seemed to end in frustration. Francesca was tense and stressed even over simple things. We asked for chairs and a small table on the balcony, but only got the chairs, and it took a challenge to get a few extra hangers. The biggest problem was coffee in the morning. Francesca disrespectfully told me to go to another hotel because she thought I was having too many coffees. We were a large group on a half-board booking. Breakfast was decent, but dinner was horrible. To be fair, her husband was more helpful and approachable, and her daughter was pleasant and more helpful. Our room was clean and in good condition, but there were no curtains. It certainly wasn't worth the price, and the poor customer service overshadowed our enjoyment of the magical mountain town of Courmayeur. Customer service should be a basic priority in the hotel business. I won't recommend this hotel or stay there again.

This was my third stay, and another wonderful trip for my wife and me. The facility is very clean, and the rooms feel like your first night there, every day. It's a quiet spot in Dolone, away from the bustle of downtown Courmayeur, but only a short walk or bus ride away. The hotel is also close to the gondola, which takes you up quickly and lets you ski back down to the bottom. We enjoyed many delicious dinners at the hotel this time, and hope to return on a future trip. Francesca and the whole team are welcoming hosts. On my previous visit, I also found it an easy walk to the centre of Courmayeur.

Francesca, the hotel manager, was wonderful and helped us from our first enquiry through everything we needed during our stay. We were there for four skiing days in February. The simple room was comfortable and very clean, and dinner was delicious and beautifully served. There's a ski room, and the main gondola is a few minutes' walk away. The main part of the village is a 13-minute walk across the river.

My mum and I had a lovely long weekend here. The cosy tavern with its fireplace and the little museum downstairs made the hotel feel special, and the museum was really interesting. We loved the food at every breakfast and dinner. The staff were so lovely, and Francesca was kind, accommodating, and helpful. She also suggested things to do and when it might be best to come back in summer. I couldn't recommend a nicer place to stay.

We used Hotel du Glacier in Courmayeur as our base during a UTMB recce, and it suited us perfectly. The peaceful setting and quiet nights made it easy to rest after long days on the trails. It's close to the trails and a short walk from the UTMB route start, handy for runners and anyone who loves the mountains. Our room was cosy and clean, with lovely views over the valley and surrounding peaks. Staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to support our training stay, including early breakfasts and advice about trail access. We'd recommend it to anyone exploring the TMB or preparing for the race. Thanks for the warm welcome, we'll be back.
