The owners welcomed us warmly and even lent us a beach umbrella, along with showing us the best beaches. Their attention to detail and kindness really stood out, which isn’t something I take for granted. We stayed for a week with the family near Vasto. Since there were no rooms free in Vasto, I looked inland and couldn’t have chosen better. The place was peaceful, with spacious rooms and balconies. We’ll be back soon. We booked two suites as described, but they weren’t remotely like suites. The house is in the center of Cupello, above a restaurant, and shares an entrance with it. The larger room had a double bed and a third bed under the air conditioning, a small table, and not much else. There was a hallway with a changing table and a coffee machine that you can’t use. The second room, perhaps 14 square meters, had a double bed, or rather a queen-sized bed, a small closet, a stool serving as a bedside table, and another small table used the same way. The air conditioner at the foot of the bed blows straight in your face, making it basically unusable. The worst part was that the pseudo-suites share one bathroom, reached through the hallway connecting them. The entrance door to the suites opens in a completely unacceptable way, leaving no privacy and letting every sound through. I still have back pain from the sagging beds and mattress springs digging into my back. It was truly a tragedy. The furniture looks like it’s from the 80s and 90s, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work. I can’t comment on the managers themselves. But I was told I could use the room or bathroom while having breakfast, then found either my husband or the cleaning lady wandering through the room while I needed to change or use the bathroom before going out. Even one star feels like too much. I absolutely do not recommend this place, and I’ll never go back.

Italo and Marianna were hospitable, thank you both. The double room had plenty of space, an ensuite bathroom, and was clean. The property is right in the center of Cupello, a handy base for getting to nearby places. Courtesy, cleanliness, and spaciousness stood out.

The owner is kind, and the place is clean. But at 70 euros a night for a double room in a B&B, I expected a continental breakfast. Instead, you have to go to a bar, where they give you a cappuccino and croissant for a small fee. What’s really serious is that they charge for the baby’s milk 😱😱😱. That just doesn’t sit right with me.
