Chalet Ortles Apt. I

The village of St. Valentin has what you need, all within walking distance, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Our apartment at Chalet Ortles was spacious, cozy, and nicely furnished; we didn’t lack a thing. We were able to bring our two dogs, which made the stay especially lovely. The Ortler family were friendly, helpful hosts. We’d be very happy to return.

We didn’t realize at first that the house contains two apartments, but that turned out not to be an issue. A few small problems, including a broken kettle, were fixed as soon as we mentioned them. The apartment itself was cozy and clean, and the spot between two lakes is fantastic, with plenty of activities starting right from the doorstep. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The sauna area is second to none, and the surroundings are a dream 🤩. You can hear the brook and enjoy the mountain views; the rooms and furnishings are lovely too. Markus and his family have made Charlet Ortles a relaxing holiday retreat. There’s a farm next door with a rather unattractive backyard visible from the balcony. It’s easy to look out toward the mountains and nature instead, and then the view is absolutely beautiful.

We had a very comfortable week in this lovely holiday apartment. Being close to the ski lift made the holiday flexible, and after winter sports the infrared sauna was especially relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed. We’ll be back.
