Ostello La Goliarda

Good.

Marise was professional, helpful, and flexible throughout my stay at La Cascina last night. She even let me use the restrooms after checkout, which I really appreciated. The cleaning ladies were also very thorough and attentive, and you can tell they take care with a smile. After a long trip, the greenery around the entrance felt immediately peaceful. I could park right in front of the building without any trouble. My room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the whole property was quiet, welcoming, and elegant. The kitchen was well equipped, and shops, supermarkets, and fast food places are close by. For what I paid, the value was excellent. It was money well spent, and I left relaxed and recharged. If I’m back in this area, I already know where I’ll stay. Thanks again for the hospitality! 😃

You can make your own breakfast from the ingredients in the shared kitchen, which is also available for lunch and dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and the basic amenities were enough for a comfortable stay. It’s a farmhouse surrounded by greenery just outside Mantua.

The location was very quiet, but other guests showed little respect for the quiet at night, both in the courtyard and on the stairs. I expected the private bathroom to be in the room, but it was in the hallway. The plywood beds seemed to creak at the slightest movement. There are some good things: a kitchen, a well-stocked breakfast pantry, and a large open area with parking. It’s nice, but I’d change a few things, and I’m not sure I’ll return.
