My stay was a negative one, with a broken shower and a bed board that had come apart. The rooms are small and dated, and nearly every room has stains on the carpet. The beds aren't comfortable either. The restaurant was average for a three-star hotel. The location itself is fine: the hotel is beside the municipal swimming pool and a stream, near the customs house, and it has a garden, which is definitely a plus.

You're only steps from the center of the lovely village of Cutigliano, and Abetone's slopes are about twenty minutes away. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant, which looks out over the terrace, is generous and delicious. In the evening, the indoor bar has comfortable sofas and armchairs, plus a lovely pool table, making it a relaxing spot for everyone. This is an old residence surrounded by greenery near the river. The vintage-style interiors have been tastefully renovated and are well cared for. The rooms are modern, comfortable, quiet, and maintained well, and the current staff are welcoming and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are lovely. It's a historic building with a lot of history behind it, set among greenery. We'd highly recommend it and would love to come back in spring or summer to enjoy more of the Tuscan mountains and Abetone.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. It's also a good choice for families. The place feels pleasant and welcoming, the rooms are clean, and the young owners are very kind, helpful, and friendly.
