The rooms were clean and the setting was quiet, with some great views. Lake Como was easy to reach, about a 20-minute trip.

The lake was lovely and relaxing, and the views and swimming pool were stunning. I’m glad we only stayed one night, though. In number 18, right beside the pool on the first floor, the pool machinery made a constant noise, practically next to your head. You can switch off the old refrigerator, but that still doesn’t make it easy to sleep. Number 18 was a no-go for us.
