Really good value for money.

We found the hostess very kind and felt at home during our two-day stay. The room was clean and stayed nice and cool despite the seasonal heat. The B&B is at the entrance to Dorgali, a small mountain town just minutes from Cala Gonone. Breakfast was plentiful, and having a fridge and freezer was very handy. There’s a nearby laundry that can do 10-14 kg of washing in 30-40 minutes and dry it in six minutes, if you prefer. Excellent value for money.

One night in Dorgali before our dinghy trip to Cala Gonone the next morning turned out to be a peaceful stay. The owner’s mother showed us the spacious room and the living area, where we could use the refrigerator. The bed was comfortable, and the equally roomy bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The place was quiet and clean, and there was a small parking lot at the entrance. Internet reception in the room wasn’t great, but that was a minor issue since it worked well a few meters away, where we could enjoy the view of the typical village below. Knowing we had an early start, the owner kindly left delicious local sweets in the fridge for breakfast. I’d recommend this property for a few relaxing days enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the hinterland, or as a base for an excursion to Cala Gonone.

The breakfast had plenty of variety, and the value for money was excellent. The owner's daughter was so kind and welcoming, too. The B&B itself is brand new, modern, and spotless, about five minutes from Cala Gonone. For a summer trip, a boat tour of the coves around Cala Gonone and Baunei is a great idea. And don't miss dinner at the Ispinigoli restaurant near Dorgali: their suckling pig was delicious, speaking as a Sardinian!
