We stayed for three nights in a beautifully renovated unit. Our room was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were ultra modern. There was a balcony with a distant sea view. The brothers were so friendly and accommodating. They helped with parking and restaurant suggestions, and coffee and croissants at the cafe next door were included for breakfast. Herculaneum ruins and the train station for Naples were both an easy walk away. It’s a lively working-class neighborhood. We also had great dinners and service at Bistrot Italia down the street.

The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and these new apartments in Ercolano are very nice. You can make tea and coffee in the apartment. It’s about a five-minute walk to Ercolano Scavi on the Circumvesuviana line, but that line is the most problematic train line in Naples. Trains don’t keep to schedule, and cancellations or delays happen without warning. The screens saying trains run every 15 minutes aren’t accurate. I once waited an hour on the platform. If you’d rather not lose time waiting, Portici-Ercolano is another option, about a 20-25-minute walk from the apartments. It’s on a different line, Trenitalia, and those trains run without significant delays.

We were very pleased with our stay. The room had a fantastic view of Mount Vesuvius, and the place was all in great shape. Restaurants, cafes, and the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum were only minutes away. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay again someday!

The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and really helpful with their guidance. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it. If we come back to ercolano, we’d stay with them again.

The breakfast was superb, and the room had a beautiful sea view. It was spotlessly clean, with every comfort and such careful attention to detail. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, and we had a great time. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. Naples remains the best ❤️
