A castle stay was such a treat. Make time to wander around the town while you're there.

Really bad. There was nobody there, even though they were offering overnight stays.

The setting has a lovely, romantic feel, and the view is beautiful. Sandra welcomed us warmly and was so kind about helping with our gluten-free diet. Our room was spacious and very clean, with everything we needed in the bathroom. Breakfast was generous too. Highly recommend!

The owners were lovely and worked around our arrival time. The castle is very well kept, and the town has a charming medieval feel. The old, worn mattress and dated air conditioner held it back for me. With a new mattress and a wall-mounted unit, I'd have rated it four stars.

Once we'd left the motorbike, we went up the stairs and through an arch into what felt like another time. There’s a castle, courtyard and tower, with a striking view. The place is managed thoughtfully, and the interiors have a comfortable, familiar feel, with romantic, slightly retro furnishings. A memorable and tasteful stay. Highly recommended.
