Our small apartment was cute, spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel and restaurant were nice. It’s a beautiful location, but getting around without a car can be difficult. When we arrived by ferry in Faggeto Lario and realized we couldn’t walk to the hotel, they kindly sent a car for us. They also helped us contact a taxi driver for the trip to Como the next day and gave us information about the bus. This would be a great spot if you have a vehicle or want peaceful solitude. There was no AC, which was manageable in early June, though worth considering if you’re very sensitive to heat.

A car is needed, since you can’t walk to anywhere from here. There’s a public car park nearby; it was sometimes full, but we always found a spot. The hotel, restaurant, bar, and little store are in a lovely small town in the Lake Como hills. After the crowded tourist sights around the lake, it was a perfect place for a quiet night. The owners were very nice and accommodating, and the rooms were large, comfortable, and equipped with everything, except I don’t think there’s AC. The restaurant and bar serve tasty food and drinks at good prices, and the convenience store can make sandwiches for lunch by the lake. Would recommend 100%.

We’ve eaten at plenty of expensive restaurants, and this was better than some of the priciest places I’ve tried. The risotto special was perfect, and the wine on tap was so good. Lovely family business in the heart of Molina, in a beautiful setting with amazing food. Five stars!

I wish we’d discovered Antica Molina earlier, because I’d have loved to try everything on the menu. We enjoyed every dish and dessert we ordered, and the brandy and rosemary risotto is one of the best things I’ve eaten on this trip. The food and wine were great, and friendly service in the rustic setting made the whole visit even nicer. A family-run hidden gem in Molina.

We tried several restaurants over our three days in the Faggeto Lorio region, and this was our favorite. The risotto was unbeatable, unlike anything I’ve ever had. The blueberry papradelli and the Ragu I ordered were both amazing. No doubt the best food in the area.
