This old family hotel has some charm, and it's clean and well located. But there's no fridge or air conditioning in the room. Breakfast was very plain, with nothing hot and no eggs, and I had the same thing for all five days. What bothered me most was that nobody changed our towels. The bath mat was always wet and a bit dirty from being on the floor, but staff would just fold it and put it somewhere, even on the toilet seat, still wet. Once I left it in the corner so it was obvious I wanted it changed, and they did the same thing. I didn't even want to try putting the other towels on the floor to get them changed. I really disliked that. I'd heard it was cheap, but I booked through my local tourist agency, so I don't know the prices.

It's an old building but well preserved, and the cleaning was satisfactory. The owner was quite willing to help, and dinner was quite nice. The rooms have no fridge, and the electricity cuts out if you use a hair dryer. They charge €2 per person per room. The balcony was too small, and breakfast had no eggs.

I booked three nights, but left the first morning to find another hotel. The beds were so uncomfortable I barely slept, and traffic was heavy all night. The walls were paper thin, the AC didn't work properly, and the shower was just a head and a hole in the floor. Dinner was bad and the staff were rude. The receptionist was incredibly rude too. They didn't even approach me when I was waiting at reception, so I had to go to them. I could have put up with that if they'd spoken English, but they only knew Italian and Spanish. One colleague spoke English, so we managed for a while. The only upside was that I wasn't hungry afterward.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and both meals were pretty good, especially the tasty dinner. Breakfast didn't have many choices, but the salami and marmalade were good, the bread did the job, and the croissants were great. The hotel is old-fashioned, with a bit of history to it. It was mostly clean, though I found someone's hair under the sheet. Pretty good for what it is.

The staff were very professional and, I have to say, very beautiful, with lovely smiles. The rooms are nice, though the walls are thin enough that you can hear people talking in their rooms.
