Un'Oasi di Pace

Extremely disrespectful. I tried to cancel and get a refund, but the property never replied. Use caution with this place. Nobody could have predicted the worldwide virus outbreak. I live in Switzerland, and only two days after the cancellation date it was announced that travel to northern Italy, then considered the worst-affected region in the world, wasn’t recommended. Not showing up wasn’t my choice. I contacted the property several times in the weeks before the stay, but got no reply and no reasonable solution. They could have offered a voucher or refund if they’d been willing, but now they say it’s too late. I’ve been trying to find any solution since March. They’re unwilling to resolve this pragmatically or reasonably. Other places I had booked for May fully refunded me, because those businesses valued their clients and understood the situation everyone was facing. I told this property well in advance and asked whether they could offer a solution, but they’ve kept my money without any compensation. It’s deeply unfair and outrageous, especially to do this to a family in such an unprecedented situation. I’ll never use or recommend them again. Pure greed. I really hope they go out of business!
