A lovely quiet place out in nature, with the option to camp. The showers and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was good. It’s about a 20-minute walk to finalborgo, but it’s steep. An e-bike helps a lot ;) Would recommend! 👍

La Contessa has beautiful old-fashioned architecture and furnishings that give the place a century-old feel, while still being cozy and welcoming. The views are stunning, especially from the balcony, where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh fruit, juice, eggs, bakery items, and well-made coffee. There’s private parking on site, and cars like an Audi A4 Allroad, VW Golf, Mercedes A-Class, or Suzuki Jimny SUV can cross the bridge on the property to reach the front garden and entrance. A memorable stay that brings together history, elegance, and comfort. Highly recommended!

The rooms are spacious, warm, and all different, in a gorgeous setting. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was great. Walking down the hill to finalborgo takes about 30 minutes, and getting back up was honestly easier for us. We did it in 20 minutes, so if you’re able-bodied, dinner in town is very doable. The place is stunning. We only wish we’d stayed another night or two, and we will next time!

We loved the food, and you can take home their lovely products, including olive oil and other specialities for yourself or as gifts. We first booked two nights, then extended to six because we enjoyed it so much. The owners are super friendly and helpful, and every room is unique. We stayed in two different ones, both great and full of lovely little details. Such a beautiful place! We’ll definitely be back!!
