B&B Poseidon

We had to stay an extra night in Italy after our flights were canceled, so we chose to explore Fiumicino instead of going back to Rome. Charlie at the Poseidon B&B gave us a warm welcome, and our room was great and very clean. We left too early to comment on breakfast, but Charlie made coffee for us and the shuttle at 6 a.m. was exactly what we needed. It’s a simple but really good place, with the beach and plenty of restaurants a short walk away.

The people at BsB Poseidon were so kind and clearly wanted us to be comfortable. We loved being close to the sea, promenade, shops, and restaurants serving traditional food. The romantic feel and breakfasts at the old Fiumicino pastry shop were lovely, and they arranged the services we needed, including transfers to and from Rome and the airport. We’d be very happy to return to BsB Poseidon. Thank you, and see you soon. ✨🫶

When we gave up for the day after missing full flights to the US in Rome, it was around 5, and we took a taxi to this great little B&B about 5 Km away. Charlie, his dad, and his brother treated us so nicely. There are loads of restaurants an easy walk away. The bathrooms are outside the rooms, though we were the only guests then, so that was no problem. Charlie’s brought us coffee and pastry in the morning and gave us an inexpensive ride to the airport. We highly recommend B&B Poseidon if you’re stuck overnight at FCO. It cost about $130 total.

The B&B is lovely and close to the sea. Everything was clean and met our expectations, and the hosts were very kind and helpful.
