Candy's Room B&B

I've spent eight holidays around the Gargano Peninsula, staying in residences, campers, and tents. Defensola is a place on the peninsula and also a holiday village tucked into lush greenery. There are olive, plum, and fig trees, palms, agaves, and big shady ferns, with a landscape that feels both Mediterranean and Caribbean. I'm here now, after two earlier stays in the past six years. Maybe it's the peninsula's beauty, the sea, or the Umbra Forest that keeps bringing me back. What I especially like is how familiar the residence feels, almost like my own home. The staff and entertainment team feel like people I've known all my life.

The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the shuttle can be arranged on request, which is really handy. It's an ideal place to stay if you're going to a competition or event at the Fiera di Roma. Give it a try and see for yourself.

The hostess was kind, helpful, and always smiling, and the quiet house and peaceful location made our stay fantastic. Breakfast was just right and gave us the energy we needed for the trip home. Everything was great, congratulations!
