Acacia Firenze Apartments Cumino-Cannella-Curry

The apartment in Florence was nice, and my friend and I stayed there for a week. But on my second day in the “Aloe” apartment, I started getting bites on my arms. By the following day they were on both sides of my neck and on my ear. A pharmacist thought they might be bedbugs, so I bought disinfectant and sprayed the mattress and pillows. Then I had to wash all my clothes and disinfect my suitcases. It was a real problem. The apartment complex seemed to think bedbugs couldn't possibly be an issue in Italy. I tried to explain that guests from all kinds of places stay there, and if someone picks them up, they can carry them from one hotel to another. I was told they'd contact the owner and deal with it if they found a problem. There was definitely a problem, and it needs to be addressed. I'm sharing this in the hope that no one else is exposed.
