10/10
The rooms and hallways are covered with beautifully displayed, high-quality art reproductions, and the shared spaces feel welcoming. Our room was comfortable and decorated with taste and care. The hotel is elegant, and the service personal and helpful. At this price, it’s an excellent Florence option.

10/10
Florence was easy to explore from here, with squares, cathedrals, restaurants, shops and the train station all nearby. The staff were lovely, patient and caring, and I really enjoyed my stay. My only surprise was how little room there was to open our luggage. Street-facing rooms can also be noisy, so earplugs may help. I can't compare the room size with other Florence hotels since this was our only stay there.

Breakfast was underground and had very little variety, and we only received water on the first day. We paid around $2,000 for three nights for our family of five, which felt far too expensive for the service and old room we got. We were put in a room across the street that was dark and so noisy we couldn't sleep, with cars and people audible all the time. If a quiet night's sleep matters to you, don't book here.

The manager personally looked after us, and we loved the included breakfast. Our room was lovely too. The hotel is right in the centre, so we could walk to everything. Such a little gem in Florence.

The staff were attentive and went out of their way for us twice, including arranging a car for a very early long-distance trip. We also had a nice room and a wonderful breakfast buffet. It's a great hotel in a handy location.
