The room’s big window let in lots of natural light, and I really enjoyed watching the sunrise during my stay. The rooms are roomy, with desks and bright lights for working or studying, and the facilities are modern, clean, and well maintained by the friendly cleaning staff. There’s also a spacious gym on site, handy if you like keeping up with fitness while traveling. Camplus Firenze Fortezza is within walking distance of Firenze Santa Maria Novella and the city center, with grocery stores about 15 minutes away on foot. A really positive stay, and I’d come back 😊

We booked at the last minute because we wanted to extend our time in Florence. The open terrace was a nice extra, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. This place was designed as a student campus, so there are shared areas, a gym, and a cafeteria, but it also takes hotel guests. Our room had the useful basics: a fridge, kettle, TV, several power outlets, and good water pressure. Statuto, the nearest T1 tram stop, is about 400m away. I'd suggest using the tram if you have trolley luggage. The pillows were completely flat, and you have to bring your own toiletries.

The hotel is a bit away from the city center, but I enjoyed trying different buses and trams to get around each day. We had a good stay for two nights and three days in this modern, peaceful place. Our room was lovely and had a balcony, although the bed felt a little firm. Staff were polite and the facilities were spacious. Parking is available, and if you're driving, it's best to reserve a space with the hotel. Access to the parking area is controlled, so it's secure.

Getting into the city center by tram was really easy, and we had a comfortable stay. The staff were fantastic, especially Rogers, who gave us city tips, answered our questions, and helped sort out a few small issues during the stay. Would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone!
