Flospirit - Apartments Gioberti

The supermarket is only 100 meters away and has what you need for a stay in Florence. Piazza Duomo is about a 12-minute walk, and the train station takes around 22 minutes on foot. The apartment is excellent: two bedrooms, a living room, one bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There’s also a laundry room with a washing machine, iron, and clothesline. Everything is brand new, and it has air conditioning. Highly recommended.

It was noisy both from the neighbors and outside, and the whole place reeked of cigarettes and bleach. The furniture looked like a collection of flea market finds. The sofa was broken, the mattress was far too old, and the bathroom didn’t even have soap or shampoo. Living as a refugee would be better than staying here.

I found a used condom on the floor while plugging my phone in beside the bed. That was during a one-night stay with my father. We arrived at 11 PM and left at 7 the next morning, after being told at check-in that there was another €65 fee for “cleaning,” on top of the €71 I’d already paid for the night. So much for that cleaning charge. A terrible experience!

With the borders closed because of COVID, we couldn’t travel, but they refused to offer either a refund or a voucher. They’re scammers.
