Algilà Luxury Torrigiani Apartments

The apartments were spotless and beautifully put together, and we felt right at home. From the historic streets to the cafes, shops, and gelato, everything we wanted to see or do was an easy walk away. We just finished a wonderful stay at Algila Luxury Apartments in Florence and couldn’t be happier. We’d happily recommend Algila and can’t wait to return!

Our apartment, number 402, was spacious, nicely furnished, and had a pleasant view. It was fairly close to Florence’s main sights, and the beds were decent, though firmer than we like. It could work well for a family, but a couple of problems really affected our stay. The second bedroom had a terrible smell. We couldn’t find where it came from, and it didn’t seem to be the bathroom. We caught a whiff on the building’s first floor too. It was strong and unpleasant enough to make sleeping in that room difficult. Also, the master bathroom shower was missing a shelf. It was clearly broken, with silicone still visible where it had been, so there was nowhere convenient for soap and shampoo.

The apartment felt brand new after a major renovation, with modern appliances and everything nicely equipped. It was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the view from the window was unbelievably lovely. The location is fantastic, and the staff stayed responsive and helpful, solving problems right away and always being in touch.

We ended up in these apartments after being moved at short notice, late at night when our party of five arrived. What a lucky turn. The staff helped us relocate, met us there, and made sure we had everything we needed. The river and Ponte Vecchio Bridge views are beautiful, and it’s perfectly placed for the supermarket, bars, restaurants, and sightseeing. Any problem was handled straight away, even a medical emergency. Mariella and Monica especially went above and beyond, including bringing us breakfast one day. The staff were fantastic. We’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back. Thank you, Monica! x
