The owners were attentive and responsive to what we needed. The location is great for getting to the center, but the toilet is downstairs by the kitchen and dining area, so guests share two bathrooms at night. There are steep stairs and changes in floor level too, which could be dangerous or unsuitable for some people.

The way we were treated was awful. I’d never come back here.

The apartment is right in the heart of San Frediano, on the first floor at Via Ardiglione 27, but the layout is awkward. The kitchen is just a cabinet in the hallway, which isn’t convenient for family meals. The main room is small and has to serve as living room, dining area, and bedroom. The floor also wasn’t fully clean, although the air conditioning worked. Check the listing photos carefully, they show a mix of two different apartments.
