Astrid Hotel

The room was mediocre, though decent enough. Breakfast was the real problem: soggy eggs, wet bacon, watered-down orange juice and milk, stale cereal, and dry, tasteless pastries. A packet of Nutella was the only decent thing. There were even pastry crumbs in the water, apparently by accident. The food and hygiene at breakfast were disgraceful, and it was the worst breakfast experience I've had. The street also smelled disgusting all the time.

The hotel's best feature is how easy it is to walk to all the tourist attractions. It's in an old heritage building, with high ceilings in the rooms and relatively small bathrooms. Breakfast was okay, though pastries are the only food I can remember. Not much else to say.

It was handy for getting to many attractions, but the place was filthy and the food was bad. There was mould on the toilet ceilings, and staff tried to vacuum it clean. The rooms had little beyond beds, and the internet was veeery slow. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was spacious, even though the washroom was small. The location is very good, especially for train travel. There isn't a reception for this hotel because it's part of another one, and room service isn't available every day. The elevator is very old and a bit scary.
