Atelier delle Grazie

It's in an old Italian building, but the inside has been refurbished in a very modern style. There is a lift, though it's tiny and very slow, so we usually took the stairs. The rooms were comfortable and a good size, with housekeeping every day. The receptionists were all super lovely, too. The location is perfect, very close to Ponte Vecchio, and the quality for the price was so good. I'd definitely recommend it.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The location is fantastic, really central and within easy walking distance of pretty much everything. I stayed six nights, though the noise made for a mixed experience. On Friday and Saturday nights, the nearby bar and club get really loud. You can hear people shouting outside until around 5 a.m., and there's little to no sound insulation, so it feels like the party is in your room. They even leave earplugs in the room, which probably tells you how noisy it gets. It could work well if you're a heavy sleeper or plan to stay out late yourself, but keep the weekend noise in mind if you want quiet nights.

I was so sad to leave this beautiful place after just one night. The room was clean, comfortable, lovely, and just right. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, with museum tickets, parking, luggage storage for the day, and late checkout available for 15eur p/hour. Check-in, checkout, and getting around were easy, and there's an elevator if you have trouble moving or are carrying a lot of luggage. Atelier delle Grazie is on a tiny, cute street, just 100m from Uffizi Gallery and the river. The location is incredible. I wish we'd stayed longer, and I'm definitely coming back next time.

The service made our stay feel really personal, especially thanks to Kate. She saw the birthday flowers and quickly brought us vases so they wouldn't wilt, then surprised us with a lovely bottle of Chianti Reserve that was delicious. The housekeeper also made a little towel animal, a thoughtful touch that made us smile. The room was spotless and super comfy. Atelier delle Grazie was a huge part of our amazing Florence trip. We were three minutes on foot from Galleria degli Uffizi and right by Ponte Vecchio, with the best shops and restaurants just steps away. It was easy to pop back to our room when we needed. Huge thanks to Kate and the whole team. We'll 100% be back next time we're in Florence!
