Mary was very kind and helpful to my family, and the place was clean and calm. The bed I slept in was really comfortable, too. It’s close to the tourist attractions and a great spot to stay. Airbnb said breakfast was included, but there wasn’t any breakfast served when we arrived. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and hope to come back to Florence someday.

The breakfast was good, and our room had a nice balcony. I enjoyed the stay overall, but there were a few snags across our two nights. Towels weren’t provided at first, only after we asked, and there was no shower gel or shampoo. The biggest hassle was getting through the main building door from outside. At 11 p.m. we waited 20 minutes on the street for the owner to come from home and let us in. The next time, someone happened to open it for us.

The staff were friendly and got us ready to see Florence, and the location is great. We chose a private bathroom, which has a very small shower, though it works well enough. Soap and shampoo weren’t supplied, so bring your own. We’d definitely stay again.
