The host was polite and offered us coffee each morning before we headed out. Our cozy room was near the city center and had a private bathroom with a hairdryer, towels, and soap. It was clean, the bed was really comfortable, and we used the climate control because of the hot weather.
The room was simple but cozy. We stayed here in November 2011, and I still remember it fondly. The owners may have changed since then, but the man running the place at the time was friendly and so helpful. On arrival he sat with us over a map, got to know us, and gave us some amazing ideas for what to see and where to eat.
It's hot and humid, and there's no air conditioning. I'm having a terrible experience. The lady who looks after the place isn't very friendly.
The apartment is close to the popular sights, all within about 1 km at most. Furnishings are basic but functional, and there's a small terrace reached by an internal spiral staircase, with 360-degree views of the city center. Recommended! The main drawback is the fourth-floor apartment has no elevator.
The hostess was very friendly and had good suggestions for places to eat, though she wasn't available much. The room was simple and had a good bed, but it was noisy. Everything is within walking distance. There's a parking garage for an extra charge, and a motorcycle cost €20 per day.
