B&B Palazzi

Alessio, Mario, and the rest of the team gave us great service. They were flexible, offered good advice, and charged reasonable prices. Breakfast was good too. It’s a little way from town, but fine if you have a car. Walking there isn’t really practical, and I imagine the bus would take a while, though it can certainly be done.

We loved how peaceful and homey the B&B felt, tucked away from the busy streets while still in a great spot. Shops and restaurants were easy to reach on foot and had plenty of good choices. The owners were wonderful, helping with my bags, calling taxis, and booking a restaurant that turned out to be a great find. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh fruit and cheese, cured meat, baked goods, orange juice, yogurt, nuts, and plenty of coffee. The rooms were spotless and clean. Can’t wait to come back to b&b Palazzi!

Mario booked us a taxi for the morning and even helped with our bags again when we left. We’d picked this place because it was close to the airport for our flight the next day, and it worked perfectly. He greeted us on arrival and carried our bags up to a comfortable room with a nicely sized bathroom. There’s a small breakfast area with a few basic options, and some historic sights are an easy walk away. A great stay for what we needed.

Mario and his family made us feel right at home, and we’d love to come back to Florence. This quiet B&B on the outskirts is near the airport by taxi, and Villa La Petraia is a lovely walk away. Bus 20 is also a short walk and takes you to the historic center. Salutaci anche a Luna!
