The rooftop has a fantastic 180-degree panorama over the city, and our room looked out toward the River Arno, with Ponte Vecchio visible in the distance. It was a beautiful view to wake up to. The location also made it easy to explore Florence. Our room had plenty of space for two people and our luggage. The bathroom was small but manageable, though having its entrance right beside the bed might feel a bit icky to some. When we first checked in, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We reported it at reception, but the staff seemed not to believe us and said the smoke alarm would have gone off if anyone had smoked. We insisted we weren’t making it up, so someone eventually came to check and noticed the smell too. Nothing was done beyond telling us to open the window, even though it was freezing day and night. Thankfully, the smell had gone by the time we returned that evening, but the way it was handled left a bad taste. We would have liked a more professional response and at least an apology. We still loved our stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Florence. If you can, ask for a room with a river view. It’s worth it! 😊

The breakfast was fresh, with good options and attentive service, and the buffet was replenished regularly. We also enjoyed a few late-night cocktails at the popular bar and restaurant on site. Our Premium Delux Signoria View room was small but beautiful and clean, with a great view of the Duomo and French doors opening onto the upstairs deck. The beds were rock solid and the pillows felt empty, though, so I slept terribly. This was the priciest of the four hotels we stayed in during Italy, and by far the worst for sleeping. Florence was the first city on our trip, and I’m glad we chose a full-service hotel, but the beds cost it a star.

The hotel bar was great for cocktails and drinks, though it only opens in the evening, from 6pm to 1am. The staff there were super on top of their game. We had a really good stay, with friendly staff and good rooms, and it was easy to reach Florence’s sights.

We enjoyed evening cocktails at the bar, and the location made it easy to walk to the main sights and restaurants. The place was very nice and immaculate throughout. Breakfast each morning was fabulous.

The service was wonderful, and breakfast had a delicious buffet with different options to suit your taste. Our room was elegant and quite comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the river. The hotel itself is beautiful and directly on the water. Even the towels felt thick and luxurious.
