It's been 10 years since I first stayed here, and I always said I'd come back to this authentic European hotel if I had the chance to return to Florence. It's clean, reasonably priced, and well placed for seeing the sights. You can walk everywhere, and breakfast is included, with a variety of food. Yes, there's no lift, but a little exercise won't hurt. It's clearly stated, so stop complaining. This is a family-run hotel. I remember a friendly, smiling older gentleman at reception when we arrived. My cousin stayed during Easter week and said it was great. I'll be staying here again in March. People writing bad reviews seem to think they're entitled Americans. This is why Europeans don't like Americans.

We stayed for just two nights and were quite happy with the room. It's a little old, but clean, and there was no street noise. The hotel is on the second floor without an elevator, as other comments mention. Its position is convenient for the downtown area and Firenze SMN station, and the welcome and the rules were clear. Thanks for everything.

For a short stay on a budget, this hotel is easy to recommend. The location was amazing, the staff friendly, and the towels were fresh. Given the price, I really can't complain.

For a budget trip, this place is an easy recommendation. It's right among the shops and historic sights, and the staff are very friendly. The room was good for what it cost, and the shared bathroom was clean too.

We needed somewhere for one night in Florence, and this was good value. The shared bathroom was clean and our room was comfortable. It's right in the middle of everything, which worked well for a quick visit.
