The layout made the apartment easy to use, and the kitchen had plenty of supplies. We slept well in both the comfortable main bed and the pullout sofa. It was great to have air conditioning, which can be hard to find in Italy, and clear instructions around the apartment for using everything. Our host was friendly and quick to respond. Set on a quiet street near the Duomo, it was an easy walk to almost everything we wanted to see in Florence. We were so glad we stayed here.

We had such a good time in Florence. The apartment was a pleasure to stay in, and the service was kind and accommodating. Right in the middle of the city.

We heard a little noise from the nearby pubs at night, though the area felt safe. The apartment itself was a cosy, clean place to come back to, with a usable, well-equipped kitchen and an updated bathroom. It's a great little two-bedroom base, and the main sights are within walking distance. Recommended, A+.

The apartment sleeps five, with a large bed, a sofa bed, and a small ottoman that converts to a single bed. There's also a larger apartment upstairs, and I'm already thinking about coming back with my family in December. I stayed in The Duomo apartment at Windows on Florence on a quick trip. Its spot between Piazza Signoria and Santa Croce was terrific. Having a small kitchen and washing machine made a real difference while travelling. You can pick up food at Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio and make a Florentine meal, with a complimentary bottle of Chianti to go with it. The apartment is well stocked, the wifi is great, and the windows shut out street noise nicely, which was good for a light sleeper like me. There's AC and radiator heat, though the weather was so nice that I didn't need either.
