Federico and Francesca made me feel welcome and well looked after, and gave me good tips for local places and restaurants that weren’t too touristy. Breakfast was lovely too. I spent just over a week in Florence, and Torre de’ Conti felt like a home away from home. It’s tucked away and peaceful despite being very central, just steps from the Duomo. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. I’d highly recommend staying here and hope to return to Firenze.

Francesca made our group of six feel so welcome, from serving breakfast to giving us an overview of the sights and restaurants. Everything we wanted to see and the places to eat were easy to reach on foot, and the location was perfect. She made our stay so enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Being able to walk into the city and get to the train station early without a hassle was exactly what we needed. The hotel worked out really well for that. Our room was spacious, quiet, clean, and had a good shower. The owners were welcoming and held our bags while we waited, then got the room ready as quickly as they could. We skipped breakfast. They shared a restaurant list, and the one we tried, 4 Leoni, was just okay; we wouldn’t go back there. We would gladly stay at the hotel again.

Getting around was easy, with the sights and nearby amenities all within walking distance. Frederico & Francesca were lovely hosts and quick to sort out anything we needed, and breakfast each day was tasty and served promptly. The B&B has a cozy, traditional feel right in the busy tourist center. Just be aware there are several flights of stairs to the rooms, though a tiny lift can fit one person or luggage.

You can pick your breakfast the day before, which was handy. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the location is very convenient, right beside the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Most of the main sights are only a few minutes away on foot.
