I’m so disappointed, especially since we’ve only just arrived. We booked the roccheto apartment and found it very dirty and poorly cared for. The floors hadn’t been mopped and had other people’s hair all over them. The toilet was unclean too, and the toilet paper was awful, see my photos. The bathroom sink is clogged, even though I’ve only washed my hands once. I’m worried about what else we’ll find during our two nights here. There’s a fly in the room, and it isn’t quiet either. I can hear the traffic and street noise. Google says there’s parking, but it costs 40 euros a day. I tried to contact them by email, WhatsApp, and phone, including yesterday before arrival to ask about this so-called parking, and nobody answered. They also gave us only two coffee capsules for the machine, even though there are two of us staying for two nights. They could at least have provided four. 👀

Getting luggage up was a challenge since the rundown building has no elevator. The apartments may have been renovated recently, but the building itself feels dingy and musty. There were dead bugs on the floor, and so many mosquitoes that sleeping was impossible. I got up several times to kill them, but at 2 a.m. there were still more and I couldn’t fall asleep. In the end I covered my head with a T-shirt, leaving only my nose and mouth exposed. A horrible experience.

Aurica was so warm and welcoming at Casa del Sarto, and the apartment had everything we needed, including a handy air conditioner. It was spotless and really comfortable. The location is also ideal, just a short distance from the heart of Florence. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next time we’re in Florence. Highly recommend!!!

Casa del Sarto makes it easy to explore Florence’s history and culture, whether it’s your first visit or you travel often. I left happy with my stay and already keen to return. The apartments are right in the heart of the city, with art, luxury, and modern touches throughout. The rooms are automated, so check-in was easy to handle on our own. Everywhere was impeccably clean, and the frescoes on the ceilings were breathtaking. It all felt grand while still bringing together the art and technology in a seamless way.

The apartment was spotless, and the cleaning lady greeted us with the biggest smile. We had great service, and Casa del Sarto made our time in Florence feel extra special. It’s close to all sorts of amenities, with restaurants, cafes, the train station, and the Duomo all within walking distance. When we left, I felt like no other apartment rental could compare. It was soooo beautiful. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you Casa del Sarto!
