The apartment is right beside the Duomo, which you can see from inside, and the location is probably as good as it gets in Florence. Cristina was responsive and ready to welcome us at the agreed time. Everything else was a really good experience, but one bedroom smelled of sewage, possibly because of the old city and the rain. Cristina arranged a room deodorizer, though sleeping in there for three nights was uncomfortable. That smell is why I didn't give five stars.

We had a comfortable, spacious room in an amazing spot almost right beside the Duomo. The stairs were a bit of a trek since there's no elevator and we were on the top floor. Being so close to the Duomo also means some noise, including music from nearby cafes. The entrance can be tricky to spot from the street, it's an unmarked black door. I hope the pictures help future guests find it.

There’s plenty of room, and the location is hard to beat.
