The rotary up the street had everything we needed, including a restaurant/bar, market, and bakery. This is a great guest house in Florence, a short walk from the train station, and it was very clean. The host was fantastic. We’d definitely stay again.

The owners were very friendly, and everything else was good. The room was good, the shower was great, and the location was convenient. The only issue was the sketchy Wi-Fi in the room. It worked in the small lobby, but I like planning my day from bed, so that was frustrating.

The host was helpful and likable, and it’s a nice place not far from the city centre. The room felt a little cold, but it was -5 while we were there, so I can understand that being unusual.

A comfortable, clean pension at a fair rate, with a really nice host and public transport nearby. The neighborhood commercial center has a bakery, a wine bar, and a fruit and vegetable shop. The bakery’s giant pennini sandwiches are especially good for breakfast. But the best place in st. Jacopino piazza is the family-owned taratoria, where we had the best food in Florence. None of the other restaurants we tried based on Yelp came close.

It wasn’t perfect in every way, but I was very satisfied. The place was lovely, clean, and safe, about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. If I visit florence again, I’ll definitely choose it again.
